Petition for Street Improvements---May Newsy Items.

The graduation exercises of the Central Falls high school will be held this evening in the Broad Street Baptist Church. Instead of the usual essays and declamations given at graduation time a few part songs, will be sung by the members of the class and an address on "Training as a Factor in Education" will be given by Dr. Albert E. Winship, editor of the Journal of Education. The diplomas will be presented to the graduates by Stephen L. Adams, chairman of the School Committee. The programme is as follows:

Piano solo, "La Harpe Eolienne," Sydney Smith, Margaret Alice Bannon: singing, "Holy, Holy, Holy," Dykes, prayer, Rev. James H. Lyon, singing "I Waited for the Lord," Mendelssohn: address of welcome, Philip Trayne Gleason: singing, ( 1 ) Meadow Song, Wiegand, Girls semi-chorus, ( 2 ) Day Break, Parker: address, "Training as a Factor in Deduction," Dr. Albert E. Winship, editor of the Journal of Education, Boston, Mass.: singing, "Legend of the Bells," from "Chimes of Normandy:" presentation of diplomas to the graduating class, Stephen L. Adams, chairman of the School Committee, singing, "We Free-Born Sons of Woden, " Arranged from Arminius, Margaret Alice Bannon, will act as accompanist.

The class motto of the graduating class in "Wo du bist, sei alles."

Latin-English course---Roby Motes Arnold, Agnes Isadore Dunn, Clara Elliott Martin, Margaret Alice Bannon, Spencer Benjamin Greene and Annette Walker Milligan.

English course---Alice Josephine Flood, Eliza Tingley Peck, Mary Macready Howat and Elizabeth Rayner Seal.

Commercial course---Sarah Evelyn Phetteplace.

Class honors---First honor--Thomas Andrew Fitz-Simon and Clara Elliott Martin

Second honor---Roby Motes Arnold and Philip Trayne Gleason.
