COUNTY PUPILS GET DIPLOMAS

Commencement Exercises to be Held This Evening in New Oxford; Nine Will Graduate.

Largely-attended class day exercises were held by the graduating class of the New Oxford High School in the school auditorium Wednesday evening. The fifteenth annual commencement will take place in the First Lutheran church this evening at 8 o'clock. The graduating class consists of nine members.

Miss Marguerite Sheets who took first honors will deliver the valedictory address. Mae I. Beamer will be salutatorian. Dr. P. M. Harbold, professor of pedagogy at Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, will be the principal speaker at the graduation exercises.

The baccalaureate sermon was preached by the Rev. A. P. Frantz in St. Paul's Reformed church Sunday evening at 8 o'clock.
