JERSEY COMMENCEMENTS
SUMMIT HIGH SCHOOL.
Summit, June 16 (Special)—Howard Hall, at Summit, was crowded this evening, when the closing exercises of the Summit High School were held. The exercises consisted of an invocation by the Rev. Dr. W. Warren Giles, pastor of the First Baptist Church;
An essay, “Waste,” by Theodore E. Hazell; a recitation, “The Dukite Skate,” by Miss Clara I. Wulff; a paper, “Historic Summit and Vicinity,” by Miss Edna M. Burling; an essay, “Metallurgy,” by Ledlie D. Moore; a paper, “A Scene from Midsummer Night’s Dream” by Wilberforce Ogden, and the valedictory, by Miss L. Erma Kelly.
Judge Frederic Adams, of the Court of Errors and Appeals, presented diplomas to Miss Edna May Burling, Miss Lillian Erma Kelly, Miss Clara Isabella Wulff and Theodore Edward Hazell, of Summit, and Ledlie Dominick Moore and Wilberforce Ogden, of Chatham.
