Deer Lodge, MT High School 1901 Graduation

Quite pretty and unique invitations are sent out by the high school graduates for commencement exercises of next week. They are printed on several sheets of white pebbled paper with white silk cord and inclosed in an envelope of the same kind, with a plain one outside of that. On the outside page in gilt letters is "Deer Lodge High School Commencement Graduating Class of '01 request your presence May 17 at Cottonwood hall, 8:30 p. m." On another page in black is an ancient student's lamp, a book and a scroll. The class motto, "Vitae via Virtus," is at the top of the programme, which is given below:
