FLEMINGSBURG HIGH HOLDS COMMENCEMENT TUESDAY

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky., May 19—Commencement exercises of the Flemingsburg high school will be held on next Tuesday night, with seven graduates, Jessie Lathram, Ethel Crain, Ernest Johnson, George Fischer, Carroll Ratliff, Jack Garannis and Fred Witt. The various exercises proper are as follows:

Friday night, high school play;

Saturday night, a moving picture, presented free to men only under the auspices of the Y. M. C. A.;

Sunday night, baccalaureate sermon by Rev. Father L. G. Fey, of the St. Charles Catholic Church of this city;

Monday night, common school commencement;

Tuesday morning, class day exercises.

The class address will be delivered by Prof. J. F. Smith, of Berea College.

The commencement exercises of the Elizabethville graded school, this county, will take place on Friday night, May 27, with the following program:

Invocation, Rev. J. A. Carriker;

chorus, “In Spring Time,”;

class history, William Henry Grannis;

piano solo, Mrs. H. W. Wallingford;

oration, “Give the World the Best You Have and the Best Will Come Back to You,” Archie H[ineligible]berns;

oration, “Night Brings Out the Stars,” Amye Wheeler Howe;

vocal solo, Prof, Charles A. Keith;

presentation of diplomas, Asa F. McGuire;

benediction, Rev. W. A. Wolfe.

On Thursday night preceding commencement the Excelsior Literary Society will render their program and Wednesday night preceding the Utopian Literary Society will render theirs.
